Renewing Your Domain ​

In most cases, your domain stays with your registrar and still needs to be renewed there, even if One Acre Web manages the DNS in Cloudflare.

Important To Know ​

  • Changing nameservers does not transfer domain ownership.
  • DNS management and domain renewal are usually separate.
  • If your domain expires, the website and email may stop working.

What You Should Do ​

  • Keep your registrar login details safe.
  • Make sure renewal emails go to an inbox you actively monitor.
  • Check that your payment method is current.
  • Turn on auto-renew if that suits your setup.

If One Acre Web Manages The Domain Directly ​

That is a different arrangement and will usually be made clear separately.

If You Are Unsure Where The Domain Is Registered ​

Ask before renewal time rather than leaving it late. It is much easier to confirm this in advance than during expiry or redemption periods.
