What Happens If You Leave?
If you decide to move away from One Acre Web, the main point is that the published website can still be taken elsewhere, but some parts of the setup may need adjusting.
Domains And DNS
- If One Acre Web controls your domain, it can be transferred to you.
- If you already control the domain, you can work with your new supplier to update the nameservers or DNS as needed.
Website Files
- It is not possible to provide full source files for the website project.
- Published sites are statically built and can be hosted elsewhere.
- The latest version of the site can be provided if needed.
- You can also download the deployment artifact from the latest deployment.
Forms
If the static site includes contact forms, those form endpoints will need to be updated to point to the new locations or services used by the new setup.
Content Export
An export of your content may be possible in an appropriate format, such as JSON plus a ZIP of related image content.
The exact export format depends on the project and the content involved.
