DNS Setup

Use this section when you need to point your domain at One Acre Web's Cloudflare-managed DNS.

What This Usually Means

In most cases, we will ask you to change your domain's nameservers to the Cloudflare nameservers assigned to your site.

For One Acre Web-managed zones, the nameservers we currently ask clients to use are:

Once that is done:

One Acre Web can manage the DNS for your website in Cloudflare.
Future DNS changes should usually be made by us in Cloudflare, not in your registrar account.
Your registrar stays the same unless we separately arrange a domain transfer.

Use the exact pair supplied by One Acre Web: evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com and zod.ns.cloudflare.com.
Do not swap in other Cloudflare nameservers unless One Acre Web tells you to.
Check whether you use email on the domain. Changing nameservers moves DNS control, so existing mail records must still be present in Cloudflare.
If your registrar uses domain lock, domain protection, or DNSSEC, you may need to confirm or temporarily disable those features before the change will save.

Sign in to the company where your domain is registered.
Open the domain management area for the correct domain.
Find the Nameservers setting.
Choose the option to use custom nameservers or your own nameservers.
Replace the current nameservers with: evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com and zod.ns.cloudflare.com
Save the change and complete any identity or security confirmation.
Let One Acre Web know once the change has been submitted.

Many registrars apply the change quickly, but global propagation can still take up to 24 to 48 hours.
During that period, the site or email may appear inconsistent in different places.
Once the nameservers are live, Cloudflare becomes the authoritative DNS provider for the domain.

Some setups are more restrictive, especially when a domain is bundled into another website platform or reseller flow.
