Registrar Guides

These guides are short One Acre Web versions of the registrar steps. Use the official support links if your account layout looks different.

Use these nameservers unless One Acre Web tells you otherwise:

  • evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com
  • zod.ns.cloudflare.com

123 Reg

  1. Sign in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
  2. In My Products, find the domain and choose Manage.
  3. Open DNS, then Nameservers.
  4. Choose Change Nameservers.
  5. Select I'll use my own nameservers.
  6. Enter evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com and zod.ns.cloudflare.com.
  7. Save the change.

Notes:

  • 123 Reg says the domain may need to be unlocked first.
  • 123 Reg says nameserver changes can take 24 to 48 hours to become active.

Squarespace

  1. Open your Squarespace domains dashboard.
  2. Choose the domain you want to update.
  3. Open DNS, then Domain Nameservers.
  4. Choose Use Custom Nameservers.
  5. Re-enter your password or complete 2FA if prompted.
  6. Continue if Squarespace asks to disable DNSSEC.
  7. Enter evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com and zod.ns.cloudflare.com.
  8. Save the change.

Notes:

  • Squarespace says custom nameservers can affect connected services such as email or Google Workspace if those records are not recreated at the new DNS provider.
  • Squarespace says the change can take up to 48 hours.

GoDaddy

  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Domain Portfolio.
  2. Open the domain's settings page.
  3. Choose DNS, then Nameservers.
  4. Select I'll use my own nameservers.
  5. Enter evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com and zod.ns.cloudflare.com.
  6. Save and continue.
  7. Complete any identity verification if GoDaddy asks for it.

Notes:

  • GoDaddy warns that nameserver changes can break existing website or email connections if the DNS is not recreated correctly.
  • GoDaddy says most updates take effect within an hour, but global propagation can still take up to 48 hours.

Namecheap

  1. Sign in to your Namecheap account.
  2. Open Domain List.
  3. Choose Manage next to the correct domain.
  4. In the Nameservers section, choose CustomDNS.
  5. Enter evangeline.ns.cloudflare.com and zod.ns.cloudflare.com.
  6. Click the green checkmark to save.

Notes:

  • Namecheap uses a drop-down in the Nameservers section rather than a separate nameserver page.
  • Namecheap says nameserver updates can take up to 24 hours, and sometimes longer.

When To Contact One Acre Web

Contact us before changing anything further if:

  • the registrar says the domain is locked;
  • you see DNSSEC warnings and are unsure whether to continue;
  • the domain is bundled into another site-builder product;
  • your email is hosted on the same domain and you are not sure whether the required mail records already exist in Cloudflare;
  • the registrar does not offer a custom nameserver option.
